What we do
Tom and Anita Patterson are the current owners of Empowered Life Bookstore. Empowered Life is the only Christian, family run bookstore in the Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater area. The Bookstore not only includes Bibles for ALL AGES, Bible imprinting, church resources, Christian fiction and nonfiction, gifts, jewelry, CD's and movies, ...but it is also the home of Lampstand Youth Theater, the Sunday Corner, and ongoing Bible studies throughout the year.

About the owners
Anita Patterson was saved by The Lord when she was 50 years old. She was a music, speech, and drama teacher for 35 years and a Sunday school teacher for over 15 years. It is Mrs. Patterson's heart to inspire children through the teaching of Gods word and the love of Jesus. Tommy Patterson is a retired construction boiler maker/boiler inspector, who is originally from Chicago, Illinois. Tommy was saved when he was 32 and attempts to walk with The Lord in his everyday life.
